Huddersfield Town Fc Brief.

I had to recreate the mascot for huddersfield town Fc, making the current mascot more or a role model/ hero. Using illustrator these are the 3 poses i came up with.

Using illustrator

i chose to do a beach theme, everything on this created from scrath on illustrator.


my first time using illustrator had to take the word vector and turning it into a theme. this image using the different brush tools on.

My Photoshop work

finished piece with included font which shapes well around the tower the only two colours showing red and green which contrast well everything else being black and white which makes the image bold and effect.
My final design, the images used, 2 photographs, photo of blackpool tower i took and an image of my friend,, the scanned are jack of hearts playing card, pressed rose, scrunched up paper and a patterned page from my scrap book.


a brief to create a piece of work using 2 photographs and 4 scanned images using photoshop. i create this illustration. these are 4 variations of my final peice deciding on what colours to use which work the best.

My Pinhead Typeface.

Artwork then formed from my typeface, i thought changing a pinhead to an actually persons head would show a litural meaning to the word i chose to call my font, a person with longer hair worked well as i could line up the pins asif that was the top part of the clip.


I then created a whole typeface from this, A-Z, 0-9, then using the thershold tool to turn my type black and white.

For my project i had to create a typeface from a found object without manipulating the image just from cutting it out and using the shapes to create letters, i saw that a simple safety pin had alot of potental, as from 1st look the head of the pin created a obvouis A shape to me.

Another image created from the same idea i like the bold colours and not knowing exactly what it is, the feet look like they have been stomped down to create the splashing/dripping effect coming from under them.

One of my first outcomes using background images to make the words stand out more using my circles font but photoshopped.

I decided that just drawing the letters on paper restricted what i wanted to do for my peice of work so actually drawing on the object/thing in this context a persons foot, it would create a more effective piece when turning it into a illustration.
